My Approach

There are dozens of big businesses and banks offering investment advice - and with most of them, you are merely a number. Most firms have a standard investment template and try and fit you into their plan. We have worked hard to save and accumulate assets and it is my goal to provide a personally suited plan to help achieve your goals.

During our first meeting, we will discuss your current investment plan and how we can make steps to where you want to be. After the meeting, Neil will create a detailed analysis of what we discussed and create an investment proposal that directly addresses your specific financial situation. At our next meeting, we will go over the proposal and answer any questions you might have regarding it. You can suggest changes and we can work together until it is ideal. If you want to move forward and put the plan into action, we can open your account and implement the investment proposal. There is no pressure and the goal is to find the best solution for your investment needs.

My Self

Neil grew up on the family farm near Glendon, a small rural town in Alberta. After high school, he moved to Edmonton and attended the University of Alberta and received a Bachelor of Education Degree. Even though the three other teachers in his family were very excited, Neil was unconvinced he wanted to teach. During this time, he pursued successful careers in sales and business management as a provincial Sales Representative and District Manager.

When he was offered the opportunity to work in a very large practice at another firm, Neil was eager for the challenge. Working on a team allowed him to learn and deal with every part of the industry including transfers, tax planning, client management, marketing, as well as investing. The time spent with the team over the next three and a half years would be invaluable as he made the transition to work for myself.

Having made his first transaction in the stock market back when he was 12 years old, Neil has always had a keen interest in investing. His brother introduced him to the stock market back then and now Neil has made a career out of introducing and managing it for others.

Outside of work, Neil is a big supporter of the local arts community. In the past, he has acted, directed and served on the board of a local Edmonton theatre. Neil also supports the local sport teams, jogs and travels when the schedule permits.
