Vice President Estate Planning
My Self
My career in the financial services industry began in 1969 in Alberta. Initially I worked and learned my trade as a member of a team providing service to clients of a private agency. Subsequently, I owned my own private practice firm for 14 years in Edmonton, Alberta. This firm was sold so that I could join the senior management team for a national firm where I was employed for more than 16 years. I've been with Canaccord Financial Services since 2001.
I actively give back to the community as the President and standing board member for a non profit organization dedicated to helping less fortunate single mothers and their children make their way back into society. The goal of this program, for each mother, is for them to become self supporting, confident contributors for themselves, their communities and society in general.
My wife and I have lived in Abbotsford for the past 11 years. Our children are all grown and all live in the Fraser Valley. I enjoy antique car restoration and am an active member of the BC Hot Rod Association. My current project is a 1935 Studebaker Dictator Sedan which is nearing completion after 4 years of hard work.

My Clients
Your Investment Advisor will help you accumulate wealth. I'm there to assist in the process by ensuring tax efficiency and a smooth transition into retirement. I also focus on transferring your estate to your heirs while minimizing tax and probate costs. We all spend a lifetime building and accumulating an estate. It only makes sense to take some time to make sure you have done all you can to protect what you have built.
The number one question asked is 'Will I have enough to support myself for the rest of my life when I retire?' The number two question asked is 'How can I reduce the taxes I pay annually and at the end of the line when the balance of my estate passes on to my heirs?'
Our role is to help you get answers to these questions (and others) and to help you develop your own personal plan for security and peace of mind.
