Senior Investment Advisor
Trading Style
I prefer to invest in companies whose businesses are displaying momentum in earnings and an upward stock price trend rather than trying to find value hoping a stock will regain its form.
With interest rates generally the same for a one year or a thirty year bond I generally leave various amounts of cash as the cash pays the same rates as holding longer term bonds. This enables flexibility if one wants to increase their exposure to the stock market.
My Clients
My clients range in age, wealth, and risk tolerance. I have several clients with low risk tolerance who are mostly invested in blue chip stocks and either money market or short term bonds. Some other clients prefer higher risk, shorter term trading where I try to implement more of a stock and earnings momentum style.
Investment Philosophy
While I believe buying large cap, blue chip stocks has its time and place I generally prefer to buy mid sized or smaller companies that have a strong growth profile. While these may have more volatility they often have excellent opportunities for growth.
My Self
I have been an Investment Advisor for 10 years. I have been married to the same woman for over 13 years with 4 children. I graduated from the University of Alberta School of Business with a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction. I care deeply for my clients and do my best to help them to maximize their returns with the least amount of risk possible.
My Mission
To help my clients achieve their financial goals with the risk level they are comfortable with.
