Prentice Lee

Associate Portfolio Manager, FCSI, CIM, P.F.P.

Mission

To provide my clients outstanding, principled service and advice with the highest degree of integrity and professionalism.

Experienced and Qualified

Prentice has been an investment advisor since 1994, joining Canaccord Capital in the fall of 2004 after 10 years with a large bank-owned investment dealer.  During more than a decade as an investment professional, he has assembled a wealth of knowledge on investing.

Prentice believes that his greatest asset is the experience he has gained over the last 14 years.  Having experienced both bear and bull markets, Prentice looks for investment ideas that are grounded by solid financial characteristics. Prentice also has three highly sought designations, PFP (Professional Financial Planner), CIM (Canadian Investment Manager) and FCSI (Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute).

Exceptional Service

Another cornerstone of Prentice Lee's practice is regular communication with his clients.  Whether it's by telephone as needed, by newsletter in the form of his TRENDLINES newsletter, via e-mail bulletins, or during his quarterly reviews, keeping the client informed is a basic tenet of his investment advisory service.

In addition to writing an investment newsletter since 1994, Prentice has created the TRENDLINES TOP 20 Portfolio which includes stock selections based on Quantitative analysis, which is Prentice's investment strategy.

Community Involvement

Prentice is a dedicated fund raiser for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and has raised more than $50,000 in the last three years for their annual JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes.  In addition, he is on the JDRF Major Gifts Committee, has been involved in coaching soccer and baseball and previously served on the board of directors of the Pacific Mineral Museum (now the Pacific Museum of the Earth at UBC).
